Thursday June 17, 2010 Exercise today was our dog Willie dragging me down the road twice. They were short walks. I also walked around Wal-Mart.

Activites today again wasn't much, Just in and out of house to camper getting ready to go camping.

Today I planted the rest of the garden Tomatoes, Green Peppers, HOT Peppers, Yellow Sweet Peppers, Cucumbers BUT before the planting, I had to rake the spots I needed, before I planted.... Ooooo the blisters.... But we'll eat fresh veggies. Yeah! I also had to water which means carrying water to the garden.

Saturday June 12, 2010 The weekend.... the hardest part of the week for some reason. Exercise today was watering the garden, playing Frisbee with the dog. Doing laundry, which means those stairs to H???! 4 trips.

Friday June 11, 2010 I got a workout today! I helped my husband get our garden spot ready, shoveling, racking and planting. Carried a 5 gal. pail of water 3/4 full, from front of house to the back of house, out by the woods to water the tomato plants in the garden. Up and down the basement stairs 4 times. lifted a big heave rock and carried it up on the deck. MY HANDS HAVE BLISTERS!

Wednesday, June 2, 2010 Today has been a good day. I went to get my groceries and I managed to stay away form the JUNK FOODS well I did get some more mini pretzels, and dry roasted peanuts. For exercise I walked back and forth up and down the the store isles more then normal. I would make more then one trip to the same isles for different items. Instead of getting them all at once when I was there. I know must have looked crazy. But I did more walking.

Saturday, May 29, 2010 Today is a new day!... I weighted myself this morning and the 5lbs I gained yesterday turned into 3lbs. That made me feel better. I still have a little pitting edema in my ankles so when I took my B/P meds this morning I took an extra diuretic. So I'll weight myself again in the morning and hopefully the other 3 lbs will be gone too!

Friday, May 28, 2010 Weighted in after getting home after a 3 day of camping trip. I have gained 5 lbs. that was depressing. I had forgot my B/P meds one being a diuretic. I have pitting edema in both ankles and my B/P was 162/94. But 5 lbs of fluid retention? OK! I'm a nurse so I know it's possible. Well we'll see what the scales say tomorrow.
